If you want to work abroad, get married or get an education, you will need a passport apostille.
An apostille is a stamp confirming authenticity accepted by all countries of the 1961 Hague Convention. In the case of non-member countries, a legalization process is required through the embassy or consulate of the country where the document is to be submitted.

Steps for passport apostillation
Instead of sending us the original passport, send us a color copy with the following text at the bottom:
„I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of my passport.“

If you are sending us a notarized copy, make sure the notary knows what purpose you have it for. It must be valid according to the correct wording (some states require different types of confirmations), they must be signed, stamped and must contain the registration number and the effective date.
